I escaped the clutches of Manitoba's winters in 1979 and moved to the West Coast. Courtenay in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island is home. 

A 35 year career in the aircraft industry as a "tin man" was exciting and rewarding. Now it is time to make some sawdust.

 I have sat on everything when it comes to outdoor furniture, some great, some not.  My biggest concern is, "will I go through the bottom or will it collapse when cousin Larry sits down in it" ? Cousin Larry is a stout lad.

I have field tested our furniture for over 25 years and still have an original in the home collection. Memories are made with this furniture, at least at our house.
